Biography

Miguel Cano is a bilingual (Spanish/English) litigation attorney who proudly advocates for individuals hurt by the negligence of others in personal injury cases. As a former industrial construction worker (NCCER pipe fitter), Miguel has traveled the country and worked in many industrial settings from Texas all the way to Alaska. In his years of working in oil refineries and chemical plants, Miguel has witnessed firsthand how quickly a set of events can change a person’s life forever.

Miguel was raised in southeast Houston and was the middle child of a five-children household. He attended the University of Houston where he received a degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he attended law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law and graduated in 2020. During his second year in law school, Miguel started working at a personal injury firm and immediately found his niche for helping injured victims across Texas and beyond. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and federally in the Southern District of Texas.

As the first person of either side of his family to attend college, let alone law school, Miguel takes pride in the role he plays not only in the law firm, but in his community. He is honored to represent victims in an array of unfortunate events. Miguel has worked on cases involving residential explosions, industrial work accidents, chemical releases, slip and falls, trucking accidents, motor vehicle collisions and wrongful death. He has helped secure large amounts for his clients in their quest for justice and time of distress.
